Fun Spanish Classes for kids age 1-1/2 to 6 and their parents. Songs, rhymes, finger plays, games, stories, puppets, role playing, movement, hands-on vocabulary building using an assortment of props & many more engaging activities are part of this learning experience. Kids delight in the sense of accomplishment they experience as they begin to comprehend a second language. This is a fun, relaxed class designed to keep children interested while stimulating their desire to learn more. The curriculum follows a natural progression and includes greetings, animals, ABCs, people, numbers, colors, food, clothing, transportation, weather, daily and seasonal activities & more. Karen has been practicing yoga since 1994 and became a Kripalu yoga instructor in 1999. She has continued her education in yoga therapy, Tai Chi, Qigong, Ashtanga yoga and massage therapy. She has been a practicing certified massage therapist since 2002 and is a level 1 teacher of Spring Forest Qigong.
